THRIVE: Maine’s Trauma-Informed System of Care Final Evaluation Report
This report presents the results of the THRIVE evaluation performed by Hornby Zeller Associates, Inc. (HZA) a social science research firm in cooperation with Dr. James Yoe, the Lead Investigator . The study has four major components, each described in more detail in the full report:
• Prevalence of trauma exposure and its effects;
• Service use and cost outcomes;
• Effectiveness of trauma-specific treatment; and
• Assessing the trauma-informed approach to services.
The research was conducted between 2005-2011 with the final report completed on August 2012.
